Have you ever just slowed down for a moment off your bike, let the adrenaline out off the system, breath and calm yourselves and take a step back to think about this. “To what end would you go, to ride your bike?” Crap smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish, every ride he took was physically painful for him. And BOtall did 7 guys, put in 214 hours, damaged her heart muscles just for 1 ride. Is it really necessary? Especially when there are no races this year, amidst a break from a grueling season, after one of the biggest races in the year, holiday season almost upon us, is it really necessary to wake up at 04h00 in the morning to sub a 40? For any professional cyclist to succeed, sacrifices have to be made. The dull and arduous long hours, the intolerable pains of the interval sessions, the heart pounding tempo and the vomits of hill sprints. And to survive all this, your mind and your will are borderline idiocy. But this isn’t the end of it. For BOlani’s birthday, the Crap and the team decided on a chain of events to celebrate Saturday, the 4 th of December (actually BOlani arranged everything, but what the heck). It started with BObbie BO’ing the Saturday morning ride, citing a basketball game of which his team is playing. Needless to say, his team got wiped out. No matter, BOrabia, BOnold & BOdope took zie Lani out and slaughtered him in the hills. Apparently it’s a Swazi tradition. But BObbie isn’t the only thing that went wrong. BOtall who was hospitalized from too much riding (7 on 1), too much blue pills (7 on 1) just couldn’t leave the cute Physio and faked heart muscle thingy (too big a word for BObbie) and wasn’t released from Olivedale Clinic in time for the Events.
